This little cottage is such a surprise as it is somewhat hidden in the middle of a 25000m2 private plot of land with orange, mango, banana, and avocado trees…yes, this is unique!
With its excellent location, its amazing 360º views over the ocean and the mountains, a lot of privacy, an immensely large space with lots to explore and to relax, it’s the perfect place to enjoy our eternal spring weather conditions.
You will be in El Desierto (Granadilla) close to and with a great connection to the climbing areas and other places of interest.
Within a 15min drive you are at the beach of El Médano and within a 5 to 10min drive you have all necessary supermarkets and plenty of restaurants.

There is a living room with open kitchen area directly connected to a terrace, creating the immense popular large indoor/outdoor space with as extra bonus the relaxing ocean views. Just a couple of steps down from the terrace you have a garden, with palm trees and an open-air shower, ideal to catch some sun and dream of a tropical lifestyle. The bedroom has a large double bed with an ensuite bathroom and your regular shower.
Next to the house you can catch some shade under one of the large trees where you will find another chill out area or where you might want to have a BBQ.
Staying at Pequeña Sorpresa will give you the full experience of what it is like to live on this island.
Next to the lodge an old pathway, nowadays barely used, takes you through the barrancos to the village of Granadilla. On top, you have an impressive old and still active aqueduct that runs water from Arico to Granadilla on the property. You can walk along the aqueduct, refresh yourself with the soft and pure water that comes straight from the galleries in the mountains and finally, there are plenty of little areas to explore and to contemplate all the different views completely on your own. Yes, we repeat, this is unique!

Where and how can we give you the highest rate? We loved everything about this place. This cottage was very clean, cozy, the bed very comfy and we used the shower in the garden every single day.
Fantastic genuine place – highly recommended!! Perfect accommodation. Beautiful countryside and tranquility. Cozy rooms, well equipped kitchen. Traditional location and splendid views. A lot of space out there.
Nice little place away from the chaos of the coast. We arrived very late, but the owners had stayed up and were very friendly and welcoming despite the hour. A week did not give us enough time to explore the complete property, we were mostly impressed by the aqueduct!
