This accommodation is very easy-going with all the little pleasures you want to gift yourself while on holiday. It has a great location in El Rio, excellent to go climbing, practice other mountain- or water sports and to visit the island. The village holds a few houses, a tiny mini market, an arrepería but within a 15min drive you have 4 big supermarkets and a few interesting restaurants. It is a nice area to slow down and it has an excellent location close to both the climbing areas of Arico and the climbing areas of Granadilla. From the village there is a quick and easy access to the TF1 motorway, Tenerife’s lifeline.

La Casa Bartolomé has several apartments all decorated in a similar style that is so typical for the Canary Islands.

Each apartment sleeps up to 4 to 5 guests with 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and small living room. All quite straight forward, nothing fancy, mainly practical, exceptionally clean, and with a lot of detail to make you feel welcome. The apartments are divided over a two-floor large house, with different staircases that make the house a bit of a puzzle and amusing. 

La Casa Bartolomé’s best feature is probably the outdoor/indoor kitchen where all guests can meet, or not, the choice is always yours. The kitchen is again well equipped with as extra feature our typical Spanish plancha, an ideal tool to bake your veggies, fish, and meat. We have noticed how guests love to make good use of this area, as it is connected to the patio and pool and it offers the option to sit both in- and outdoors.

The pool is of a good size to loosen up the muscles before or after you want to explore the island and the sunbeds complete the picture of an accommodation that holds all those little pleasures you want to gift yourself while on a holiday.
