Nestled on the slope of a clove, the B-cottage overlooks its own private lush green garden, its pool, the desert like arid natural space of the clove and the Arico mountains in the distance. Show moreArico is quite different from the rest of the island. Only a small amount of people had settled here, mainly living of the land. Over the years the large vast dry landscape made it uneasy to live, the source of income shifted to tourism and the few little villages became desolate. In recent years people moved back in, some out of necessity, but most because they liked the authenticity of Arico. This is exactly where the municipality still stands today: It’s authentic, peaceful, with small villages where time seems to stand still.
La Bougainvilla is a lovely little place for two to relax and to isolate from the world. The small kitchen is well equipped and connected to the little living room, the bedroom overlooks the garden with its pool and the terrace. The decoration is minimal and tasteful.

Wir wollten so nah wie möglich an den Klettergebieten sein, ohne auf zu viel Komfort und gutes WLAN zu verzichten. Wir bekamen einen tollen Service und fanden dass das Haus ein tolles Preisleistungserhältnis hat.
Der Aufenthalt im Haus war an sich schon ein echtes Erlebnis, im Dorf ist nichts los und es ist eine kleine Fahrt zum Supermarkt oder Restaurant, aber das hat uns nicht gestört.
Es ist extrem ruhig in der Lodge und alles war exquisit, wir haben nichts vermisst und alle sind sehr hilfsbereit. Der Parkplatz befindet sich auf der Straße, ist aber recht einfach zu erreichen. Insgesamt ein tolles Urlaubspaket!
